** THIS COURSE TAKES PLACE OVER 4 WEEKS, STARTING OCTOBER 16, 2023 (Mondays at 6:00-9:00pm AT).
Your training sessions will be October 16, October 23, October 30, and November 6. Participants must attend all 4 sessions to complete the course.
BETTER BOARDS! ONLINE is a fun and practical training experience, specifically designed for Atlantic Canada's non-profit board members and executive directors. Attendees will receive hands-on governance training and the BETTER BOARDS! Toolkit of cool tools and templates that will help your board simplify and streamline its work, and make meetings run like clockwork!
Registration fees are heavily subsidized by the generous support of our corporate partners in the community. Your fees include all course materials, postage and administration. Our fee scale is based on an organization's annual budget - smaller and underresourced organizations pay less, more strongly resourced organizations pay more. Individuals pay the same as the smallest organizations.
Better Boards! is a Nova Scotian social enterprise with a core mission to provide affordable, foundational governance training for Atlantic Canada's non-profit and charitable sectors. We offer in-person and virtual programs to deliver high quality education in locations around the region.
